Spent a delicious day photographing chef Gavin Kaysen making his grandmother's pot roast recipe for the New York Times Food section. Just in time before spring hits. I went home and made this the next night. I recommend you do the same.
Racing Age World Masters in France for NYTimes /
I spent my 40th birthday documenting the decathlon and heptathlon at the World Masters Championships in Lyon, France for the New York Times sports section and LENS blog, part of my work on the Racing Age project.
